Most law firms who concentrate in defense litigation willcharge an upfront security
retainer of between $2,500 to $15,000 depending upon the complexity of the
defense. Litigation involving lender liability requires specific motion
practice and trial court knowledge and a passionate belief in the arguments to
be presented. Most law firms that we work with charges $3,500 as a retainer and
$350.00 per hour for defense litigation, plus an additional $3,500 retainer in
the event a matter is set for trial. It is not uncommon for a defense
case to take over 100 hours of attorney time, spanning several years.
As part of a joint venture with some of Chicago's most prestigeous law firms, we are able to negotiate and waive any upfront retainer fees and charges only a monthly retainer
fee for the first 500 clients who sign up for the Foreclosure Rescue Central.
Our goal is to place the homeowner on the offensive. Through
aggressive defense, we seek a huge right down on the principal loan
amount, a lower interest rate and a lower payment so that the homeowner can
remain in the home. We expect that the homeowner will be in a better position
to make a decision regarding their home in 8 months, a year and sometimes over
two years, where no defense will most assuredly leave them homeless in a few short
months.
